Operation

You're in command.

A perfect overview, fast reactions and intuitive operation – with Siemens control systems you can control your cooking zones easily and safely.

Safety

Child safety lock

The child safety lock prevents dangerous situations arising in the first place: the switch panels are protected from unauthorised access quickly and easily. The child safety lock is integrated in the main switch for the hob. Pressing it for six seconds blocks all functions of the cooktop. The lock can be cleared by again pressing it and holding it.

Protective grate

Portable protective grates are another way to protect the hob. You can attach them with suction feet when you're using the hob, so children can't get at the cookware or the control panel.

Residual heat indicator

Cooktops and hobs with a residual heat indicator show which cooking zones are still hot, and so help protect against burning.

Safety pilot

The electronic safety pilot for gas hobs shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out.
