Personalise the menu settings of your EQ.3/EQ.300 coffee machine.

This appliance has different factory settings. You can customise the settings on the appliance.

Examples for settings which can be defined into:

  • Automatic switch off
  • Switching the audible signal on/off
  • Setting the water hardness
  • Setting the language
  • Factory reset

Step-by-step guide to change settings.

1/6 Access to the settings: Press and hold “3 beans” and “Calc’n Clean” for at least 3 seconds.

2/6 Use the cappuccino button to scroll through the menu items.

3/6 Use the latte machiatto button to select.

4/6 Use the cappuccino button to change the settings for this menu item.

5/6 And press the latte macchiato button to confirm the change.

6/6 When you are finished, press the caffe crema button to exit.

Note.

If no button is pressed within 90 seconds, the appliance switches to ”Choose beverage” without saving. The previous setting remains unchanged.

An example – how to change the setting “Automatic switch off”.

The appliance switches off automatically at a specific time after the last button was pressed. This time can be selected, with settings from 15 minutes to 4 hours possible here.

1. Press and hold the “3 beans” button and “calc’nClean” button for at least 3 seconds.

2. Touch the “cappuccino“ button repeatedly until "Auto Stand-by" appears.

3. To confirm press the “latte macchiato“ button. The factory settings are activated, the language selection appears.

4. To scroll through the menu items, touch the “cappuccino“ button and select the time. The following settings are possible:

  • after 15 min.
  • after 30 min. (factory setting)
  • after 1 hour.
  • after 2 hours.
  • after 4 hours.

5. Confirm by pressing again the ”latte macchiato" button. The factory settings are activated, the language selection appears.

6. To exit the menu touch the ”caffe crema” button.
