When drying clothes lint can never be completely prevented. It is important that the lint filter of your dryer is cleaned on a regular basis. Removing lint ensures that your dryer runs smoothly in any situation and at any time. However, it is not only important that you remove the fluff from your dryer, but also how it is done. There are six simple steps for a professionally cleaned fluff filter. If you repeat these six steps from time to time (ideally after each drying circle), your dryer will run at maximum power.

Step by step guide:

Step 1:

  • Open the dryer door and remove all fluff from the door, because lint is not only in the filter of your dryer.
  • Pull out the two-part fluff filter. In most cases, the filter is obviously full of fluff.

Step 2:

Remove the fluff from the recess in the fluff filter.

Note: Ensure that no fluff falls into the open shaft.

Step 3:

Pull apart the two-part fluff filter.

Step 4:

  • Open both filters and remove all the fluff.

Step 5:

  • Rinse away the fluff under warm, running water.

Step 6:

  • Dry the fluff filter, close it and reinsert the two-part fluff filter.

Caution: Do not operate the dryer without a fluff filter or if the fluff filter is defective. The dryer may be damaged. Only a proper fluff filter ensures a functioning dryer.
