Any world-changing innovation starts its life as an idea in an ambitious mind. The Siemens Design Award offers your idea the right stage and the right audience. We are scouting for brave projects from members of all design disciplines from all over the world. No matter whether you are working in a team or on your own.

Clarity facilitates and shortens the tidying up process after cooking. The concept opens creative scopes. Tidying up almost happens without help.

Magic Glove is a smart kitchen glove which helps to reduce the complexity of modern kitchen surroundings. It extends the performance range of the hand and integrates the wearer intuitively and seamlessly in the network.

Third Place – project “Taur”

Taur is a storage system for groceries, in order to store them correctly and without losing important nutrients. The system enables different temperatures and humidities within the different pods.

Instruments is a minimalist kitchen that is reduced to the worktop, which forms a symbiosis with cordless and recyclable cooking utensils.

Eva deals with the cultivation of nutritious superfood within the space of consumers’ homes. The modules create ideal conditions for swift harvesting of selected microgreens, insects or aquacultures.

Third Place – project “Ambient Hob”

Ambient Hob transforms the classic hob into an adjustable kitchen platform. An inductive surface automatically recognizes the cooking utensils and goes completely without buttons and touch screens.
