Follow these three steps
All issues are analysed in advance by a technical team to ensure the engineer is equipped with the replacement spare parts likely to be needed to complete the repair. Siemens customer service hotlines are open 24/7 to check the status of your appliance and to do a diagnosis of the problem. If you prefer an online fault diagnosis, please use the Siemens online support centre which offers an appliance specific fault diagnosis. The E-Nr (model-number) is required. In the Siemens online support centre you have access to appliance user manuals and appliance tips and tricks in the FAQ section. Please check out before you start booking.
Step One: Check your instruction manual and online help
Luckily many minor appliance faults can be resolved on your own by following some simple self-help advice and guidance. Visit the Siemens appliance help and support page to identify the fault with your appliance and follow the recommendations provided to resolve the fault if available. Further information about your appliance and how to use and install it can be found in the instruction manual.
To access the online help and support for your appliance, click the "get help and support" link below, and to search and download your appliance's instruction manual, click the "find your instruction manual" link below.
Step Two: Identify your appliance
There are two pieces of important information that you need to have available in order to book a repair for your appliance, which are both located on the rating plate found in various places depending on which appliance you have.
- The model number (E-Nr) highlighted in red on the image below.
- The four digit FD number highlighted in blue on the image below.
Ideally, you should also have the invoice to hand as it could contain important additional information about your appliance, such as the date of purchase which is required to check whether your appliance's fault is covered by warranty.
If you need help to locate the rating plate on your appliance, please use the model number finder below to view diagrams of the various locations where the rating plate can be found on your specific appliance.
