The dishwasher is not draining properly. This could be caused by a drain hose that is clogged or kinked, a sealed siphon connection, a pump cover that is not on properly, or a blocked sewage pump.
To check the hoses, firstly set the programme selector to off and pull out the mains plug. Check the drainage hose has been installed without kinks. Loosen the hose clip on the siphon. Carefully remove the drainage hose and any residual water. Clean the drainage hose and siphon spigot. Hold the end of the hose in a bucket and select the "drain" programme. Connect the drainage hose to the siphon and check for leaks. Hold the end of the hose in a bucket and select the "drain" programme. Be careful as the water may be scalding hot!
To check the pump, set the programme selector to off and pull out the mains plug. Remove the filters. Remove the pump cover. Remove any residues. Check that the pump impeller rotates freely. Replace the pump cover. Replace the filter unit.

The water supply filters or aqua-stop hose are blocked. The dishwasher waterflow is too slow. The tap might be jammed or calcified causing low water pressure, or there is a kink in the supply hose / water hose. Please check the water inlet. Clean the water supply hose filters. Please note that the aqua-stop safety device contains an electric valve. Do not immerse in water!
- Turn the tap off.
- Take the hose off the tap.
- Clean the filters using a small brush.
- In appliances without an aqua-stop, remove the hose from the back of the appliance, take out the filter with pliers and clean it.
- Reconnect the hose and check it for leaks.
Check the tap water pressure using a bucket. About 10 litres of water per minute should flow out of a fully opened tap. Contact your plumber if the water pressure is too low. Ensure there are no kinks in the supply hose.
The dishwasher sensor does not detect salt tablets. Please use a different salt.
Your dishwasher door is not closed properly. Try carefully closing the door again. If this doesn’t work, ensure that no objects, such as utensils, are protruding over the basket and preventing the door from closing.
This may be caused by no rinse aid, no salt, or the sensor not detecting the salt tablets. Depending on which is the case, either refill the rinse aid, refill with special salt, or use different special salt.
