Prawn Crostini Recipe

This delicate and delicious prawn crostini will impress your guests and is ready in under 10 minutes. A perfect canapé or light starter.

Prawn Crostini Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, thinly sliced
  • 55g butter
  • 200g cooked prawns, shell off Sauce:
  • 60ml (4 tbsps) mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsps tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Worcester sauce
  • Salt, pepper and paprika to sprinkle
  • Handful of fresh rocket leaves, washed
  • Small bunch of parsley, finely chopped

Method

1. Lightly butter the underside of the bread slices

2. Mix sauce ingredients together and add most of the prawns

3. Pile onto the bread and top with a prawn and a sprinkle of paprika

4. Bake on a wire grid over a universal pan for 8–10 minutes

5. Serve immediately with a sprinkling of paprika, chopped parsley and fresh rocket.
