Cleaning your EQ.3/EQ.300 coffee machine.

  • If the appliance is cold when switched on, or if it is switched off after dispensing coffee, it rinses automatically. The system is therefore self-cleaning.

Important: If the brewing unit has not been inserted or the brewing unit or drip tray not inserted correctly, it will not be possible to close the door.

Caution! Clean the brewing unit without detergent or products containing vinegar or acid and do not place in the dishwasher.

Or follow this step-by-step guide.

1. Remove coffee grounds container.

  • Switch off the appliance and open the door to the brewing chamber
  • Remove the coffee grounds container

2. Pull brewing unit out.

  • Push the lever up, grasp the brewing unit by the handle and carefully pull the brewing unit out the appliance

3. Rinse brewing unit.

  • Rinse the brewing unit by hand thoroughly under warm, running water.
  • Please be aware that the brewing unit should not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

4. Clean inside of appliance.

  • Thouroughly clean the inside of the appliance with a damp cloth removing any coffee residues
  • Allow the brewing unit and the interior of the appliance to dry

5. Insert brewing unit.

  • Hold the brewing unit only by one hand.
  • Push the red lever up, position the brewing unit underneath and slide back as far as it will go. The lever must snap into place.

6. Insert coffee grounds container.

  • Insert the coffee grounds container again and close the door.
