The milk system is automatically cleaned with a short jet of steam directly after preparing a milk drink. Please be aware that the outlet system becomes very hot. After use, always let the outlet system cool down before you touch it. Manually clean the milk system on a weekly basis or more frequently if required. For particularly thorough cleaning, the milk system can be additionally rinsed with water.

• Remove the milk container from the appliance.
• Slide the outlet system to the bottom position.
• Press the unlocking mechanism at the top right.
• Fold the cover down towards the front and remove.
• Remove the milk system and dismantle into individual parts.
• Clean the individual parts with detergent solution and a soft cloth.
• Rinse all parts with clean water and leave to dry.

• All parts of the milk system can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Detergent residues in the milk system must be thoroughly removed following the rinsing process.
• Important: The outlet system cover is not dishwasher-safe.

• Assemble the individual parts of the milk system.
• Insert the milk system into the cover.
• Slide the outlet system to the bottom position.
• Position the cover at the bottom and pivot it upwards until it engages.

For particularly thorough cleaning, the milk system can be additionally rinsed with water.
