Step One: Check your instruction manual and online help
Luckily many minor appliance faults can be resolved on your own by following some simple self-help advice and guidance. Visit the Siemens appliance help and support page to identify the fault with your appliance and follow the recommendations provided to resolve the fault if available. Step Two: Identify your appliance
There are two pieces of important information that you need to have available in order to book a repair for your appliance, which are both located on the rating plate found in various places depending on which appliance you have.
- The model number (E-Nr) highlighted in red on the image below.
- The four digit FD number highlighted in blue on the image below.
Ideally, you should also have the invoice to hand as it could contain important additional information about your appliance, such as the date of purchase which is required to check whether your appliance's fault is covered by warranty.

Step Three: Contact us to arrange your repair

Where do I find the model number on my appliance?
The location of the rating plate for your Siemens appliance depends upon the type of appliance it is. Below you can see an example of a rating plate with the model number (E-Nr) highlighted in red. If you are unable to find this number on the rating plate for your appliance, then you can also use the rating plate finder below which will display diagrams showing the various locations where the rating plate can be found on your appliance.
