When baking or roasting, the oven's heat distribution feature allows you to prepare up to four small dishes, such as cakes or appetisers, at the same time. Simply place foods on baking trays or wire racks so they do not touch each other or are positioned on different levels within the cooking compartment. Feature availability depends on model.
Important to know: Always refer to your appliance instructions for guidance on when preheating is recommended.

The versatility of steam cooking
The steam function in Siemens combi-ovens offers a versatile way to prepare a wide variety of dishes. Steam cooking does not require added oil and can help preserve the natural flavour and texture of ingredients. It can also be used to gently reheat pre-prepared meals while helping to maintain their quality.

One click for guided cooking
Not sure which settings to choose? Simply select the Dishes function and your oven will recommend suitable cooking settings based on what you're preparing. After you've made your selection, the oven automatically manages the cooking process and switches off when the programme is complete, helping make everyday cooking simpler and more convenient.

Save time with self-cleaning
Spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your kitchen. If your oven model features activeClean®, only a few steps are required to run the cleaning programme. Once the self cleaning cycle is complete, simply wipe away any remaining residue from the oven cavity.
Alternatively, selected models feature coated walls. Depending on the model, a special coating is applied to the roof, side walls and back wall (Coated Walls), or to the back wall only (Coated Backwall). The coating is designed to help break down grease and cooking residues during normal oven operation. It begins working during roasting and baking and regenerates whenever the oven is heated, helping make oven maintenance easier.
Important to know: As with many cooking residues, stains are generally easier to remove shortly after they occur. The longer residues remain in the oven, the more difficult they can be to remove. Please refer to your appliance instruction manual for guidance on which accessories can remain in the oven during the self-cleaning cycle.

Getting the most from your oven
The following tips can help you make the most of your oven during everyday cooking:- Only preheat the appliance if this is recommended in the recipe or appliance instructions.
- Avoid opening the oven door unnecessarily while cooking.
- Remove accessories that are not required for the dish being prepared.
- Once cooking is complete, refer to your appliance instructions for guidance on cooling and ventilation.
