Cooling

Where and how to store items.You can keep dairy products, eggs, ready meals, pastries, open preserves and hard cheese in the refrigerator compartment. Recommended temperature settingYou can set the temperature in the refrigerator compartment from 3 °C to 8 °C. However, the recommended temperature is 4 °C. While the temperature in the hyperFresh compartment is kept at around 0 °C, in the freezer one it can be set from -16 °C to -24 °C. We recommend long-term storage of food should be at -18 °C or lower.

Impact of temperatureHow long you can store your food in the freezer compartment? Just have a look at the imprinted freezer calendar. It indicates the maximum storage duration in months, at a constant temperature of –18 °C.

Dishwashing

Intelligent programmes for everyday useDesigned around the demands of everyday life, Siemens dishwashers offer a range of programmes and options to suit different needs. The Eco 50°C programme is designed for everyday loads and can help reduce water and energy consumption compared to more intensive programmes. On selected Siemens dishwashers, water consumption can be as low as 7.7 litres per cycle when using the Eco programme depending on the model.

Designed to adapt to every loadWhether washing a full load or just a few items, Siemens dishwashers offer flexibility to suit your day-to-day needs. Loading the appliance in line with its recommended capacity can help make the most of each cycle, while the Half Load option adjusts the selected programme when there are fewer items to wash.

Right use of detergentWe recommend to set the rinse aid and the water softening system to the separate detergent or combined detergent in use. Laundry

Amount of loadingDifferent programmes are designed for different load sizes. Checking the recommended load capacity for the selected programme can help ensure the appliance operates as intended and may help reduce creasing of garments.

The right dosageUsing the recommended amount of detergent for the selected programme and load can help ensure effective washing performance. The required dosage will depend on factors such as load size, degree of soiling and local water hardness. On selected Siemens washing machines, the i-Dos automatic dosing system automatically dispenses detergent based on the selected settings, providing added convenience in your laundry routine.
