Cooling
Recommended temperature setting.
You can set the temperature in the refrigerator compartment from 3 °C to 8 °C. However, the recommended temperature is 4 °C. While the temperature in the hyperFresh compartment is kept at around 0 °C, in the freezer one it can be set from -16 °C to -24 °C. We recommend long-term storage of food should be at -18 °C or lower.
Impact of temperature.
How long you can store your food in the freezer compartment? Just have a look at the imprinted freezer calendar. It indicates the maximum storage duration in months, at a constant temperature of –18 °C.
Where and how to store items.
You can keep dairy products, eggs, ready meals, pastries, open preserves and hard cheese in the refrigerator compartment. In the hyperFresh compartment you can keep your food fresh up to three times longer, than in the refrigerator compartment. Dishwashing
Save water and energy.
Using the appliance allows you to save water and energy compared to washing-up by hand. With our Siemens dishwashers, you can save up to 8,500 litres of water per year.*

You want to save even more water and energy? Load the machine with the number of place settings specified.
Right use of detergent.
We recommend to set the rinse aid and the water softening system to the separate detergent or combined detergent in use. The function of rinse aid is limited with combined detergents. Laundry
Amount of loading.
The right amount of loaded clothes has an effect on energy and water consumption. Also, you can prevent creasing by checking the maximum load of the relevant "programme”.
The right dosage.
Use the correct detergent dosage to achieve best washing results and save resources. The detergent dosage depends on the amount of laundry, degree of soiling and water hardness. The dosing recommendation suggested is aimed at the maximum load for the programme.
Which detergent for which cloth?
