What is the difference between the EQ700 integral vs classic ?

Both models include a variety of features and promise high-quality coffee at the touch of a button. The main difference is the type of milk system. The EQ700 Integral has an integrated milk container that can be removed and stored in the fridge, whereas the EQ700 classic has a milk hose that extracts milk directly from a milk bottle, carton, or container of your choice.

What is the difference between the EQ7OO and the eq900?

While both models include a large variety of coffee specialties and intelligent functionality, the EQ900 allows for more individualisation than the EQ700. It features baristaMode, the beanIdent System, and the ability to store up to 10 personalised profiles. Additionally, the EQ900 boasts an electronic grinder, a larger full touch TFT display (6.8”), and accommodates up to 2 bean containers, whereas the EQ700 only has 1.

Does the EQ700 have a pot function?

Yes, all EQ700 iAroma models have a pot function, letting you brew up to 750ml of black coffee with a single touch. Plus, the doubleCup feature allows you to prepare 2 specialty coffees simultaneously, including milk-based drinks. For all non-iAroma models, only selected machines have the pot function.

Does the Siemens EQ700 have a cup heater ?

Yes, depending on the model. When activated, your machine will warm your coffee mug automatically each time you place it on the base. You can activate or deactivate the cup heater in the basic settings. The active cup warmer, on top of the machine, is included in the following EQ700 models (article number starting with): TP727... and TQ727... All models feature the cupPreheat function; with this option you rinse your cup with hot water to preheat it before brewing your coffee.

How do you go about cleaning the Siemens EQ700 coffee machine?

Cleaning and descaling the EQ700 is a breeze. First, a message on your machine will notify you when cleaning is required. You can also get cleaning notifications sent to your phone via the Siemens Home Appliances app. When this happens, check which programme is needed: cleaning, descaling, calc’nClean (combined cleaning and descaling). Select the suggested program and follow the on-screen instructions. For cleaning, place a cleaning tablet in the box within the coffee bean container. For descaling, add Siemens descaling tablets to the water container of your EQ 700 with half a litre of warm tap water.

Does the Siemens EQ700 work with Home Connect ?

Yes. The EQ700 is WiFi-enabled and designed to be used with the Siemens Home Appliances app. Pairing your machine allows you to enjoy home connect features like remote control, additional coffee specialties, recipe inspiration, and more.

How do you clean the Siemens EQ700 brewing unit ?

It is important to remove and clean the brewing unit of your EQ700 from time to time. To do this, start by selecting “Brewing unit cleaning” in the service menu. Then, simply follow the on-screen instructions. The brewing unit should only be cleaned with warm water and a gentle brush. Do not use detergent, soap, vinegar, or acid of any kind, and do not put it in the dishwasher.
