
Method
Grease and line the spring form tin on the sides and base.
Preheat oven on 4D Hot Air 160°C
Peel the orange using a potato peeler and cut into wafer thin slices. (Avoid pith)
Bring 2tbsp of orange juice and the sugar to the boil until thick and syrupy, add the chopped walnuts, strips of orange zest and coat in the syrup
Once caramelised place into the prepared cake tin
Wash, peel and core the apples and cut into cubes approx. 2cm in size.
Cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time followed by the orange marmalade. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sieve and stir thoroughly. Add the apples to the mixture and spread over the walnuts in the cake tin.
Bake on 4D Hot Air 160°C for 60 minutes.
