Sweetness without sugar, creamy, yet no cream – these are characteristics of coffee taken to the extreme. When cold brew coffee is infused with nitrogen, you get nitro coffee. A cool, refreshing beverage that delivers a caffeine kick in a completely new way.

What does it taste like?
Much like a typical cold brew, nitrogen-infused coffee is extremely smooth and low in acidity, but with a uniquely silky mouthfeel. The tiny bubbles created by nitrogen give a perception of sweetness and creaminess, even though the iced drink itself is neither of those.

How to serve.
Nitro coffee can only be served from a tap. Most fans drink it straight up or poured over ice relying on the natural creaminess created by the nitrogen to deliver a smooth and cool drink. However, if you have a sweet tooth, you can easily enrich the flavour with sweet cream or vanilla syrup.
The differences.
Cold brew.
Cold brew and nitro coffee are made in exactly the same way. What happens next, however, makes all the difference. Where cold brew is served over ice, nitro is kegged and infused with nitrogen to give it a distinctive pop.
