Use your washer to go beyond just clean – to hygiene

During our daily activities, we come into contact with microscopic bacteria, viruses and irritants that can also adhere to fabrics. Your washing machine is powerful tool for flushing them and ill health out.

Stick close to the dose

Too much detergent cause irritation, too little and you won’t get hygienic results. Use i-DOS or refer to your machine’s manual for precise dosing.

Skip the softener

Fabric softeners make it easier for pollen to lodge between fabric fibres, so rather steer clear.

Turn up the heat

Dust mites can’t stand high temperatures. Wash bedding at 60°C or more and set the dryer as high as the fabric allows to reduce allergens.

What if fabrics can’t take the heat? Leaving clothing in the freezer overnight will also kill allergens. Finish off with a cool wash.
