Siemens and Future Self Coffee are working together to deliver an unparalleled at-home coffee experience. The precision German engineering from the new Siemens EQ900 coffee machine series, combined with carefully and sustainably sourced beans from Future Self Coffee elevates the brewing process, providing a new level of refinement for coffee connoisseurs.
As part of the partnership Siemens and Future Self Coffee will be working closely together to ensure that both coffee blends and coffee machines are showcased to deliver a great coffee experience. Visitors to the Siemens London showroom will be able to sample the Future Self Coffee blends. The four blends include Focus, Reset, Self-Care and Share, and have been specially created by founder Alfie Deyes. The flavours and aromas are brought to life with the innovative technology of the EQ900 coffee machines from Siemens.

The way that we enjoy coffee has evolved over the years and while some may still enjoy a simple coffee brewed in a pot, new technology means we can add a new level of sophistication and personalisation to our coffee. The Siemens EQ900 coffee machine skilfully balances your coffee preferences to engineer the perfect drink based on what you love, with ease.
The new beanIdent system found in baristaMode can suggest settings for your machine based on the type of beans that you’re using, meaning that the EQ900 can create the perfect cup of coffee for you that’s tailored to your favourite blend.
What makes the ‘perfect’ cup of coffee and how does the EQ900 deliver this?
The best part of coffee is that it’s so personal. The definition of a perfect cup of coffee will depend entirely on who you ask. That’s why the EQ900 is a great addition to any household. Its features are fully customisable to meet everybody’s preferences.

How does the EQ900 complement Future Self Coffee?

With the EQ900’s baristaMode we’re able to personalise the settings for each of the four blends, which means that the variety that Future Self Coffee offer in their range can be appreciated at a new level, with each blend having its own aroma and flavour.
How does the EQ900 simplify the coffee brewing process and help people during their busy mornings?
Every drink made with the EQ900, goes from bean to cup in 30-90 seconds, whenever you want it. It’s much quicker than heading to your local shop and queuing up to order, or to pull your own espresso shot manually.
To ensure that your machine is always ready to go and primed to create your drink in a matter of seconds, you can switch it on remotely via the Home Connect app. Additionally, you can save your preferred drink of choice in the app, your coffee will be ready at the press of a button.
What feature of the EQ900 takes coffee to the next level?
Across all the bean to cup machines, it’s the iAroma system that really enhances the coffee you’re using. In the EQ900 – aspiring baristas have the opportunity to customise the elements of the brewing process more than ever before – looking at the ideal brewing temperature, the right amount of water and the dosage of your freshly ground coffee beans. New to the EQ900, the e-grinder can electronically adjust the degree of your grind, giving you more control over your favourite coffee.
How can I make the most of the Future Self Coffee blends?
The dualBean system allows you to fill each of the two individual hoppers with a different blend, meaning you can easily switch from one to the other without the blends mixing - perfect for caffeinated and decaffeinated options.
The options are endless, you could have a dark roast such as Focus, a single origin blend like Shared or even decaf with Reset. With the dualBean system, each container has a dedicated grinder, so the two blends will never cross over.

You can also take the stress away from remembering multiple drinks for guests by using coffeePlaylist. Each of your guests enters their name and drink choice on your smartphone or tablet, then your coffee machine will make them all, one by one.
You can also get alerts and updates about your machine – including reminders that your beans and milk are running out. You’ll never have to worry about facing a morning without your favourite coffee.

I have two go to drinks – the espresso and for a longer drink, a café crema. I love to try different blends of coffee and experiment with different settings. I enjoy how the settings interact with each other - and when you get it right you can sit back and enjoy the perfect cup of coffee. It’s a journey each time, with each new blend. It’s always an opportunity to learn something new about coffee.
