Siemens washing machine error E29 / E00-29 / F29 / F00-29

If your Siemens washing machine displays the error E29 / E00-29 / F29 / F00-29, this means there is a problem with the door opening mechanism.

Don't worry , you can easily solve the problem yourself in most cases.

Filters in the water connection of the inlet or aquastop hose are blocked.

st4safety ATTENTION!
  • The aquastop safety device contains an electric valve.
  • Do not immerse in water.

  1. Turn off the water tap.

  2. Keep a bucket ready.

  3. Disconnect the hose from the tap.

  4. Pour the remaining water from the hose into the bucket.

  5. Clean the filters using a small brush.

  6. With appliances without aquastop, also remove the hose from the back of the appliance.

  7. Take the filter out with a pair of pliers and clean it.

  8. Reconnect the hose and check it for leaks.

Water pressure is too low.

  1. Check the water pressure directly at the tap.

  2. Put a bucket underneath the tap.

    • Approx. 10 litres of water should be discharged within a minute from the tap when fully open.

    • If less water is discharged from the tap within a minute, the water pressure is too low.

  3. Call a plumber if the water pressure is too low.
