Removing the Siemens washing machine transit locks

Can't wait to finally start using your new Siemens washing machine? The appliance is secured for transportation using transit locks on the rear of the appliance. Before starting, it is important to remove the transit locks. Our guide will help you safely undo the locks on the rear of the appliance.

Removing the transit bolts

The appliance is secured for transportation using transit bolts on the rear of the appliance.

Notes:

Observe the information on safety and preventing material damage.

Keep the transit bolt screws and the sleeves in a safe place for future transport. Inserting the transit bolts

Pull the hose out of the holders.
Unscrew and remove all of the screws for the 4 transit bolts using a WAF 13 wrench.
Remove the power cable from the holder.
Remove the 4 sleeves.
Put on the 4 cover caps.
Push the 4 cover caps downwards.

Note:

To install the transit bolts to transport the appliance, perform these steps again in the reverse order.

Removing the transport struts

Unscrew and remove the screws in the vertical transport struts using a T20 screwdriver.
Remove the transport struts.
Undo and remove the screws in the horizontal transport strut using a T20 screwdriver.
Remove the transport strut.
